Hello and welcome to peaceonthepeninsula.com! I am excited to announce that I will bike from Washington, D.C. to Anchorage, Alaska starting in a few days. This is my first blog, so I respectfully ask for your patience while I familiarize myself with the WordPress layout and editing functions to provide you with a coherent viewing experience; this may take some time. I intend to share route details, videos, photos, equipment/gear used and general updates as my trip to Alaska progresses.
My bike trip back to Anchorage is an effort to document and build my biking credibility for my 2020 Bike and Kayak for Peace on the Korean Peninsula concept. Another effort I will undertake and document is sea kayaking the Inside Passage from Washington State to Alaska during the Summer of 2017 or 2018. Finally, I intend to use downtime during my bike trip to Anchorage to provide you with my initial vision for the 2020 Bike and Kayak for Peace on the Korean Peninsula.
